Welcome
"A good programmer is
a lazy programmer."
I've heard this before, and I really don't know who to credit
with it.
But I like it!
So far most of our utilities are designed around making things
easier.
That's what were all about, in a nut shell.
But we like to be different. Offering stuff you
can't get easily, otherplaces.
Now we are going to prove our worth once again.
When we created our shopping cart software
we went
through several models, some still in use. But
all in all. It was not the total answer.
It's a pain to manage even small changes to your HTML
pages.
So we developed a set of what we called widgets
to implement a shopping
cart and a search engine and more. Just by simply dropping in
these little code widgets.
It seemed like a good idea. So we thought we could give web
masters a taste of the
widgets power and abilities. Of course for your
complete free use.
And the Widget technology showcase was born.
It is sure to become a web master favorite.
While not readily absorbed by a new web master, the widget family
will be
your ticket to developing some cool rapid dynamic stuff.
All of the widgets work from your standard HTML web page.
To use a widget simply use the join.
What you get:
You will get access to the
CIR or Common Information
Record.
aspect of the Widget library. The complete
library is open to our shopping cart
users. Which features a product database and shopping cart set of
widgets.
This record will contain useful tidbits of names, and HTML code
that you use regularly.
Then in your HTML page, you will post the provided code
for the function you want to appear there.
The real beauty, is that if you use this on
let's say a 20 page static web site. When you make
a change to the name or copyright date, all of the pages will
show the changes. So you get dynamic
features from a static page. Cool ,no. well try
for yourself.
Thanks
Mike
